Jim McKeown

Biography

Jim McKeownJim is a drama tutor/facilitator with the newly launched B.E.A.M (Bardic Educational Arts & Media).

His previous roles include Mr Stokes in "Affluence"; Lieutenant Yolland in "Translations"; Michael Evans in "Dancing at Lughnasa"; Jim Bayliss in "All My Sons"; Archie Craven in "The Secret Garden"; Ernst Ludwig in "Cabaret"; Oliver Warbucks in "Annie"; Narrator in "Blood Brothers"; Zebulunn and Baker in "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat"; Pilate in "Jesus Christ Superstar"; Benny Southstreet in "Guys and Dolls"; Eddie Lyons in "Blood Brothers"; Javert in "Les Miserables"; Caiaphas in "Jesus Christ Superstar"; multiple roles in "Cats"; various voiceovers.

Writing: the musicals "Me, You, Us" (with Eunan McCresh); "Half The Whole Story" and the play "Touching Wood" (with Patrick Hughes & Tyrone McElhennon). Jim has directed a number of musicals, most recently "The Wizard of Oz" for Starmaker Youth at the Burnavon.
