"A Christmas Carol"

by Charles Dickens (2004)

The production faithfully tells the story of Ebenezer Scrooge, the wicked miser, and his scornful nature towards Christmas and good cheer.

In this one-man presentation of the story, James Lecky flows effortlessly through the 23 characters which bring this haunting and magical tale to life - from his meeting with the ghost of his old business partner Jacob Marley, his encounters with the spirits of Christmas Past, Christmast Present and Christmas Yet-To-Come, to his eventual transformation into the benevolent soul and human manifestation of all that is good about Christmas.

In this darkly comical and deeply touching production the audience is taken on the road which must be trod by individuals to realise the redemption of their good nature and ultimately, their soul.
