"Joyriders"

by Christina Reid (1997)

A youth training programme in Inner City Belfast set the backdrop for this drama. The background of 'The Troubles' highlighted the social and economic climate, and provided for the tragic and dramatic ending.

Joyriders ran for six nights in March 1997 and was the group's first straight drama. This successful venture led to another run in May.
