"Our Day Out"
by Willie Russell (1996)
Tells the story of a boisterous group of inner city kids taken on a school outing by their caring and supportive teacher Mrs Kay. Conflict looms however with the appearance of the villian of the peace, an unsympathetic and out of touch deputy headmaster Mr. Briggs who goes along to make sure order prevails.
This was Craic's debut production in May 1996 and due to it's success had a second run in September of the same year.
